In today's rapidly changing world, the role of Catholic education in fostering connections with youth and families is more vital than ever. With shifting societal norms and technological advancements, it's essential to explore new forms and innovative ways to engage with education, particularly within the Catholic context.
In this workshop, we'll delve into various facets of Catholic education, exploring not only its traditional forms but also innovative approaches to connect with the youth and families. We'll discuss the intersection of Catholic education with social service organisations, examining how both entities can collaborate to enhance community engagement and support.
Some key criteria that we will be exploring includes:
New Forms of Engagement in Education:
How can we adapt traditional Catholic education models to resonate with today's youth and families? What innovative approaches and technologies can we leverage to enhance learning experiences and foster spiritual growth?
Contributions of Social Service Organisations:
What role do social service organisations play in supporting Catholic education? How can they contribute resources, expertise, and community outreach to enrich the educational experience for students and families?
Reciprocal Benefits:
How can Catholic education give back to social service organisations? What unique contributions can educational institutions make to support the mission and initiatives of social service organisations?
Engaging at the Parish Level:
How can we leverage Catholic education to strengthen parish communities? What strategies can we employ to integrate educational initiatives seamlessly into parish life and engage families more effectively?
Promoting Active Engagement with Catholic Social Teachings:
How can we empower families to become more active participants in Catholic social teachings? What educational programs and resources can we provide to deepen their understanding and inspire action in alignment with Catholic values?
Throughout this workshop, we'll engage in interactive discussions, share insights and best practices, and collaborate on developing practical strategies to drive Catholic connection with youth and families through education.
Together, exploring how we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of our communities and foster a deeper sense of faith, knowledge, and service.
