What are CDF Donation Terminals?
CDF Donation Terminals are designed to collect fast and secure payments or donations in-person.
The terminals are ideal for parishes, schools and other organisations who are seeking a cash-free payment collection option.

Smart Donation Terminal
No up-front cost
With no initial cost on application, Smart Terminals acquired through CDF will not incur the standard establishment fee of $90.
Monthly rental fee
A rental fee of $25 per month (including GST) applies.
Transaction pricing
Pricing is dependent on the organisation's Charity and Deductible Gift Receipt (DGR) status.
- ACNC & DGR Status: 0.2% of total amount + $0.08 per Visa, Mastercard or EFTPOS transaction
- ACNC Only: 1.1% of total amount + $0.15 per Visa or Mastercard transaction / $0.25 per EFTPOS transaction

Up-front cost
CDF are offering the sponsored price of $595.00 including GST.
Monthly rental fee
A rental fee of $15 per month (including GST) applies.

- ACNC & DGR Status: $0.16 per Visa or Mastercard Transaction / $0.05 per EFTPOS Transaction

Accessories for added security
Kensington Security Cable
The Smart Terminal includes a reinforced Kensington slot that enables the attachment of an industry standard Kensington Security Cable.
Kensington Cables provide a secure method to also secure other high value electronic devices including Laptops and LCD Displays. This cable is readily available at in-person and online retail stores, such as Officeworks and Amazon.
It is highly recommended to have the device attached to the cable at all times. Attaching the Kensington Cable to your device may take a few minutes, given the tight nature of the fitting.
Tether Cable
The Tether Cable accessory is recommended if you have purchased a DPT Countertop Stand accessory and helps to keep your DPT and stand secured.
The Tether Cable is a 1 metre long braided metal cable with a loop at both ends. One loop engages with the stand, and the other loop is anchored to an immovable object such as a retail counter.

How to apply?
You can apply for a Smart Terminal through CDF by contacting your Relationship Manager or our Customer Service team.
Please note, once the application link is delivered from CDF, you will need the following items to begin your Smart Terminal online application:
- ABN details
- a scanned copy of a recent CDF/bank statement, including a visible account name and number (balance/transaction details not required) 
- driver’s license or passport details of all authorisers overseeing use of the Smart Terminal
Pending all information is correctly provided during the application, the approval process with CDF and Quest Payment Systems will take 10-15 business days for the terminal to be delivered to the nominated location.
